Understanding Employee Statuses
Understanding employee statuses is crucial for accurate payroll administration. Employee statuses help to track whether an employee is actively employed, needs more information to be set up, or has left the company, along with their pension details.
From the main page, click on the "People" section on the left-hand side menu.
You will see two statuses columns: Payroll Status and Pension Status.
- Pending Information: This indicates that information is missing for this employee to be included in any payroll. To complete the setup, click the three dots next to the employee's name and select "Finish employee setup."
- Active: This means the employee is currently employed by your company and will be included in all payrolls after their employment start date.
- Terminated: This indicates the employee's employment has ended, and they have left the company.
- Not enrolled: This indicates, that the employee is currently not enrolled in the pension scheme.
- Enrolled: This means the employee is currently enrolled into Collegia Pension.
- Left scheme: This indicates the employee has left the scheme, either because he left employment or he opted out from the pension.
