How to change employee's pay schedule
**Navigating to the Employee Record**
People Section: Navigate to the 'People' section of FreePayroll.
Employee record: Click on the three dots next to the employee’s name and select 'Edit' to open the employee record.
**Changing Pay Schedule**
Locate Salary Tab: In the employee record, click on the 'Salary' tab.
Find pay schedule section: Once you are in the 'Salary' section, you will see a box, with the employee's current pay schedule name. Click on that box.
Select new pay schedule: Select from the dropdown list, the new pay schedule for that employee.
Save Changes: Click 'Save' to apply the changes.
**Important Consideration**
- You will be responsible for ensuring that there are no overpayments or underpayments for the employee. Our system will not warn you of any underpayment or overpayment.
- You cannot change an employee's pay schedule when that pay schedule is in a rollback state. You need to complete the rollback process first.
