How to close the PAYE scheme in FreePayroll?

If you want to inform HMRC that you wish to close your PAYE scheme, these are the steps that you would need to perform in Collegia FreePayroll.


  1. Go to the HMRC section and select the EPS Submissions




  1. Click New EPS Submission. A modal will open for you to confirm the type of EPS submission you want to send. Select Close PAYE Scheme, choose the Scheme Close Date, and then click Submit EPS.




  1. If you wish, you can download it by clicking the icon shown in the screenshot.



Please note that after performing this action, your PAYE scheme with HMRC will be closed and no further submissions will be allowed by HMRC.
